At TOAST, coffee means more than just a caffeine kick. It’s a way to show up for others. Our “Coffee for a Coffee” initiative was brewed from a simple but powerful idea: that everyone deserves something warm, comforting, and kind, especially during tough times.
So, for every coffee you enjoy at TOAST, we donate one on your behalf. Whether it ends up in a food bank, a local shelter, or a community space, your morning ritual is doing a little good in the world.
In 2024, we donated over 250,000 coffees.
Since January 2025, we’ve already donated 95,000 cups of coffee within our communities.
Where Your Coffee Goes
We donate a coffee to a local charity or organisation that supports people facing challenges. It’s our way of giving back to the communities, charities, and organisations that work tirelessly to uplift others- through the medium we know best: coffee.
Your cup reaches people through:
Homeless shelters, offering a moment of warmth to those facing rough patches.
Food banks, where it’s served alongside meals for families who need support.
Community events, helping bring people together, sometimes over nothing more than a chat and a brew.
Real Stories, Real Smiles
In Colchester, one of the charities told us how our coffee brought comfort to their residents during the recent winter. In Sudbury, a community centre used it to run social mornings for older people who’d otherwise be alone. These are the kinds of stories that keep us going.
